Pinpoint location around the clock, with tow-away and tilt sensors that trigger if the car is lifted or moved.

IS THIS THE RIGHT TRACKER?

Most people buy an S5 because their insurer asked

An S7 covers monitored tracking and recovery. The S5 adds automatic driver recognition, which is what insurers increasingly want on higher-value cars, vans, motorhomes and business vehicles.

Check the exact wording on your policy first

Insurers word this differently, and the difference matters — fitting the wrong category can get a theft claim refused. If any of these appear in what they've sent you, this is the product they mean:

Thatcham S5 Category S5 ADR tracking Automatic Driver Recognition

If they've asked for S5 with immobilisation, you need the S5+ instead. If they've only asked for S7, the standard tracker will satisfy them for less.

S5 or S7 — the difference is driver recognition

An S7 tracker is monitored tracking and recovery: useful once a car has gone. The S5 adds an ADR tag that tells the system whether an authorised driver is present.

Move the vehicle without the tag and an alert goes to the call centre. That's the bit that catches relay and key-cloning theft, and the reason insurers name S5 on higher-value vehicles.

This one doesn't immobilise

Worth being plain about: the S5 gives you driver recognition, monitored tracking, app and web access — but it can't stop the engine restarting during a theft.

If your insurer asked for immobilisation, or you want that extra barrier, the S5+ is the one you want. Don't buy this page's product and hope it counts.

See the S5+ with immobilisation

A cheap GPS tracker isn't the same thing

A £40 device shows a dot on a map. It isn't Thatcham certified, nobody is watching it at 3am, and no police force will act on it the way they act on a call from a monitoring centre.

If your insurer has specified S5, a self-fit GPS unit almost certainly won't satisfy them — and you'd find that out at claim time.

Why professional fitting matters

Badly hidden kit is kit a thief can find and pull out. The tracker needs to go in discreetly, wired to the right connection points, not tucked under a seat.

Craig fits it himself, then sets up your app, your web login and your subscription before he leaves — so it's live and you know how to use it from day one, across Leeds, Bradford, Wakefield, Huddersfield, Halifax and the surrounding areas.

Not certain which category your policy needs? Call 07973 273721 and read us the wording — we'd rather put you on the right one than sell you the wrong one.

HOW MONITORING WORKS

The part that gets your car back

The tracker in your car is only half the job. Monitoring is the 24/7 UK control room watching it, and it's what turns an alert into a recovered vehicle. Insurers require it to be active for your S5 approval to count.

Someone is always watching

A secure operating centre, staffed around the clock, every day of the year. Not an app notification you might sleep through.

They verify, then act

If your tag is missing or the car is moved without it, they call you first to rule out a false alarm, then escalate.

Direct line to the police

The control room liaises with police forces directly, passing live location as your vehicle moves. That's the difference between a crime number and your car back.

Monitoring terms

For reference — you choose your term in the order form at the top of this page, and it's added to your total there.

1 year £180
3 yearsworks out £150/yr £450
Lifetimefor as long as you own the vehicle POA

Set up on the day of fitting. We'll remind you before it renews — no auto-renewal traps.

BEFORE YOU ORDER

What the order form asks for, and why

A tracker isn't a box we post you — it's a fitted, insurer-registered device. The few extra questions at checkout are what let us turn up prepared and get your paperwork right first time.

1Monitoring subscription

Your tracker needs an active subscription for the control room to respond, and for your insurer to accept the S5 approval. 1 year, 3 years or lifetime — the longer the term, the better the value.

2Three preferred install dates

We fit at your home or work, so we're working around one van and real traffic. Giving us three options means we can almost always confirm one of them straight away instead of going back and forth.

3Add immobilisation

Optional upgrade. Lets the control room stop the engine restarting once the vehicle is stationary during a confirmed theft. Some insurers ask for it specifically — if yours has, choose it here.

4Driver fobs

The ADR tag that tells the system it's you driving. One is included; add a second if someone else drives the car regularly, or it'll flag their trips as unauthorised.

5Registration, make and model

Every vehicle wires differently. Knowing what we're fitting to means we arrive with the right loom and mounting, and it's what goes on your certificate of installation for the insurer.

6Keyless start & install address

Keyless cars are the relay-theft targets, so we set the system up differently. And we need to know where the car will actually be on the day if that's not your billing address.

Not sure on any of it — especially whether your insurer wants immobilisation? Call 07973 273721 before you order and we'll set it up correctly with you.

GOOD TO KNOW

Product questions

The S5 suits cars around £30k–£50k and high-theft models, and it satisfies insurers who specifically require an S5. If your car is over £50k or prestige, ask about the S5 + Immobilisation instead. If your policy names a category, follow it exactly — fitting the wrong one can get a theft claim refused.
Yes. £275 covers the device and professional mobile installation anywhere across West Yorkshire, plus your certificate of installation for the insurer. The only ongoing cost is the monitoring subscription, from £180 a year.
Usually within the same week. You give us three preferred dates at checkout and we'll confirm one of them — that way we can almost always lock in a slot straight away. The fit itself takes one to two hours at your home or work.
Only if your insurer asks for it, or you want the extra layer. It lets the control room stop the engine restarting once the vehicle is stationary during a confirmed theft. If you're unsure whether your policy requires it, call before you order and we'll check with you.
One ADR tag is included, which is enough if you're the only regular driver. Add a second if someone else drives the car often — otherwise the system will flag their journeys as unauthorised and the control room will call you.
If the car moves without your ADR tag, the 24/7 monitoring centre is alerted immediately. They call you first to rule out a false alarm, then liaise directly with the police using live GPS to recover the vehicle as quickly as possible.
No. The tracker is installed discreetly using the correct connection points by a qualified auto-electrician with 23 years' experience, so your manufacturer warranty stays intact and there's no visible sign of the device.

Still not sure? Call Craig directly — the same person who'll fit it.
